About MyDugsi
Built as sadaqah jariyah.
MyDugsi is built so that a dugsi can spend its time on teaching, adab and community, and less on lists and phone calls. We do not charge for it, and we will not.
Free
No licence, no subscription and no paid add-ons.
No adverts
Not on the website, not in the app and not in the messages to parents.
Data is never sold
The pupils’ and families’ data belongs to the school. We use it only to run MyDugsi for the school.
Why free
Many dugsis run on volunteers and on parents’ payments. A subscription would take money away from teaching. That is why MyDugsi is built and run as ongoing charity, and we keep running costs low enough for that to last.
What that means in practice, and what we do with data, is on How it works and Security.
